First featured at Daniel lin's solo cardistry video Shapes in the Dark, Netsky is a flourish that has multiple packets moving at the same time, packets mechanically rotating and then a flick to close it.
According to Leon Tai's knowledge, the move was first published on a forum called Singapore Magic Circle in 2005. Back then, Mockingbird was fairly simple compared to the full version we see today. It can be seen as a combination of the corner spin from Molecule 3 by Dan and Dave and the Tornado Cut. In Twisted Reality (2006), the flow improved significantly, and Daren stopped midway through the move to showcase the "3-packet display", making the flourish feel more complete. Three months later, an extended version of Mockingbird was released, but it was not until 2008 that Daren published the full version of the move, featuring the stunning display known as Twist of Fate. Mantra is one of the greatest one handed cardistry of all time. The move itself involves cutting a deck into two halves, then holding the lower packet in the lower part of your hand. The upper packet is then split into two using your thumb, simultaneously dragging out a single card out and then later combining the middle and lower packet together, flaring out the single card.
