Inspired by Excuse Me by Henrik Forberg. Yang was trying to pick up the move while incidentally created a new mechanic that still has the same spirit as Excuse Me. The name Windrunner is a direct reference to a character from Warcraft III.

Dropout is a fun and easy combo move which enables you to retain one or two cards in your hand after dropping a packet. It was first featured in Oliver's video 'Offhand' and has since become popular due to its practicality. Credits to Paul Harris for the Simple Switch and to Lonnie Dilan's for his move Bionic (the one card clip using the index and middle finger).

In order to understand and appreciate the art of cardistry combos, one must gather knowledge of as many moves as possible. Simplicity and practicality plays an important role when you're combining and/or improvising. Through the years, we've come across many different utility moves with different appearance and levels of simplicity. One we always come back to is Legolove by Nikolaj Pedersen. It is based off the classic Molecule rotation using the corners, and was first taught in the "Dynamite" tutorial series from 2011. It has become a part of our cardistry subconscious, and is a must-learn for every modern cardist. Sit back, grab a pack of cards, and learn Nikolaj's Legolove.

Backdrop
BackdropLV 2
Kevin Ho
2012

Backdrop is a simple flourish in which a single card is launched horizontally through the air from one hand to the other. The card is held under tension created by the index, middle, and ring fingers, secured by the thumb and little finger, then released with the little finger. The move is often combined with ATM as a clean and visually striking finisher. Created when Kevin was exploring the idea of shooting a card from the back-palm position. It was first introduced in his 2012 One-Card EP and was later added as the closer for Revolver.
