Mockingbird
MockingbirdLV 7
Daren Yeow
2005

According to Leon Tai's knowledge, the move was first published on a forum called Singapore Magic Circle in 2005. Back then, Mockingbird was fairly simple compared to the full version we see today. It can be seen as a combination of the corner spin from Molecule 3 by Dan and Dave and the Tornado Cut. In Twisted Reality (2006), the flow improved significantly, and Daren stopped midway through the move to showcase the "3-packet display", making the flourish feel more complete. Three months later, an extended version of Mockingbird was released, but it was not until 2008 that Daren published the full version of the move, featuring the stunning display known as Twist of Fate. Nowadays, we often see people perform only the first phase of Mockingbird, and this iconic flourish becomes even more impressive when executed at high speed. This description is a short summary of Leon Tai's in-depth video essay on Mockingbird which is shown above.

Trinity
TrinityLV 3
Andrei Jikh

Trinity is an amazing move that allows you to effectively "duplicate" a charlier triangle in the right hand, then combine it back together into one triangle. When done smoothly at high speeds, it can look as if the second triangle magically appears.

Waves is a move that splits the deck into two packets, with the second packet being held in the lower part of the hand. Then, the index and thumb fingers strip off cards from the upper packet to fall into the lower packet. Waves is often considered a prerequisite for the move Mantra.

Phobos Deimos
Phobos DeimosLV 4
Noel Heath

Phobos Deimos is a move that revolves around floating cards and rotations. The cardist must first angel one card with one hand then hold another singular card in the lower hand. Then, both cars are displayed outwards towards the viewer. The deck is then rotated, with the card being "angeled" on the top thumb staying roughly in the same position. Then, the angeled card is moved downards along with the bottom hand moving the lower card upwards.

Gearbox
GearboxLV 3
Kenneth Aidan Foo

Gearbox is a deceptively hard looking move that later reveals itself to be much easier than it seems. Gearbox features many spinning packets, and a unique final display. It is recommended to learn Sybil beforehand, but it is not striclty necessary.
