Tiny Hands
Tiny HandsLV 3
Scott Black

Tiny Hands is a visual illusion in which a single card is placed against the performer’s palm and gently pushed outward, creating the appearance that the card is floating just above the hand. The effect is typically enhanced by rotating the hand during the display, further reinforcing the illusion of suspension. important For Tiny Hands to function correctly, the performer’s palm must retain a slight amount of moisture to allow the card to adhere subtly to the skin. The creator explains this directly, stating that “to perform Tiny Hands, I use the moisture on the inside of the bottom of my lip.”

Rotation Isolation
Rotation IsolationLV 2
Jaspas
2010

Rotation Isolation was created as a complement to the Palm Shift Isolation. The move begins by gripping the center of the card with the thumb and middle finger, which serve as the pivot point. The ring finger is then placed against the card to rotate it in the opposite direction of the hand's movement, creating the illusion of a stationary card.

Palm Shift Isolation
Palm Shift IsolationLV 2
Jaspas
2010

Palm Shift Isolation is a simple, fundamental isolation flourish that marked the beginning of isolation-based flourishes. A single card is held by its long edge with the fingers while the thumb slides it across the palm. The wrist is then rotated, allowing the fingers to regrip the card along its long edge and return to the starting position, ready to repeat the motion.

Prestige Isolation
Prestige IsolationLV 2
Jaspas
2013

Prestige Isolation is a simple isolation flourish that combines a fan with a single isolated card. The move traditionally begins with a fan created using the Side Pressure Fan technique, although a similar final effect can also be achieved with other fans, such as the Thumb Fan. A single card is then extracted from the fan and rotated in the style of the Rotation Isolation. The creator named the move after The Prestige (2006), drawing inspiration from the film's theme of magic.

Mantra
MantraLV 6

Mantra is one of the greatest one handed cardistry of all time. The move itself involves cutting a deck into two halves, then holding the lower packet in the lower part of your hand. The upper packet is then split into two using your thumb, simultaneously dragging out a single card out and then later combining the middle and lower packet together, flaring out the single card.
