The famous Sybil cut in cardistry was created by the magician and author Chris Kenner. It was first published in his 1992 book, Totally Out of Control, under the specific name the "Five Faces of Sybil".

A thumb fan is a classic card flourish and magic technique used to spread a deck of playing cards into an even, beautiful semi-circle. It is used by magicians to let spectators select a card, and by cardists as a visual display of skill.

Riffle Fan is created by evenly spreading the cards into a circular fan while riffling them. The entire fan is balanced on the tip of the index fingernail or thumbnail, allowing the cards to slide and rotate around a central pivot. The main challenge is finding the right balance between gravity and support. Applying too much upward pressure prevents the cards from sliding smoothly, while too little causes the fan to collapse.

Naoki Fan is an extension of the Smear Fan that reaches 360 degrees. A more difficult version is to make a fan with interlanced cards for greater results References Predator performing the variation on both hands (3:26-3:33) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhQHnAiPdqg

The Werm is one of the most iconic flourishes in the cardistry world. It's a five packet cut and beginner flourish which displays a long row of cards at the fingertips. Released in The System in 2003.
Inspired by Excuse Me by Henrik Forberg. Yang was trying to pick up the move while incidentally created a new mechanic that still has the same spirit as Excuse Me. The name Windrunner is a direct reference to a character from Warcraft III.
